Racer Geocoin

Bug GeocoinThe back side of a bug geocoin.

Slug Bug! I called it first! We love to play slug bug, so SupremeMe just HAD to get this cool bug geocoin.

It took me a bit of searching to figure out the name of this coin. Apparently it is named the racer geocoin. As far as I can tell it isn't listed on the wiki page. I was able to find an ebay listing for an orange one that lists the coin as being 2 inches wide and 3mm thick. The Orange one has a black nickel finish and is made with soft enamel. It is trackable and has its own icon. I imagine that information also holds true for the green one. It was originally sold at the geocoin store. This one was purchased from ebay. Which reminds me, I need to add a vehicle category to my store. I will do that this evening. I have no idea how many of these were minted.

We have our own version of the slug bug game. We give one smack for a new one, Two smacks for an old one and three smacks for an old vanagon bus. If you call it wrong, whoever was on the receiving end gets to smack you back twice as many times. Also, if you drive by a parked car and then drive back by later in the day it still counts because it is a new trip. Same goes for going in a store and coming back out. The game certainly keeps us all on our toes.

As a side note. We just went on a road trip to Oregon. Be forewarned, There are TONS of bugs in Oregon. Especially in the parking lot of the Oregon Country Fair. It was like a freaking vanagon convention.

My arm is still sore.
